Mix these essential oils with olive oil and you will make a mosquito repellent that works better than commercial insect repellents.

🔸 2 oz Extra virgin olive oil 🔸10 drops of lemongrass oil 🔸 8 drops of eucalyptus 🔸 5 drops of lavander 🔸 8 drops of Cajeput

🌿 The mixture works as a great bug repellent as well as few benefits for the skin. 🌿 Olive oil is one of the best things to use to make your own repellent because it's also an organic insecticide.

Thanks for sharing! Adding essential oil of rosemary and peppermint to the mixture is very effective as well. You can also dilute it with water to use on pets to help keep fleas and ticks from your pets.

essential oils are pretty good, it just sounds bad because its associated with bimbos in the crystal movement who use them to summon angels or demons and lift their spiritual energies or whatever.

They use alot ALOT of essential oil in this DIY product, and I advise that you do research before making your own. It either has to be a diluted product and thats why he needs to use so much, or they are winging it. The essential oils in this video were probably overpriced, low grade, diluted essential oils from Amazon. Alot of retailers sell prediluted essential oils so people dont accidentally hurt themselves and others with it, and because they are usually just selling them for their smell in a fancy humidifier.

Essential oils are actually plant concentrates. Concentrates are made of certain plants that have known benefits. Essential oils keep for a very long time, and are more practical than having hundreds of bushels of said plant around the house.

One can make remedies and such with essential oils, but its dangerous to use them if you are not educated. Essential oils may come off as a simple science thats hard to screw up, but if you get the ratios wrong or dont dilute the product, you can poison yourself or someone else. It may not have immediate effect but some essential oils not diluted properly will slowly shut down certain organs. A perfect essential oil is very expensive and should only be used by professionals, or at least people who've taken the time to study the subject in depth.

Also, it is really hard to find a quality essential oil. And if you do, it will be very very expensive. The process to make high quality essential oils requires very expensive machines and a hell of a lot of whatever herb it is theyre extracting from.

The thumbnail looks like the mosquito is sitting on nigger hide.

Lavender is a known hormone disruptor.

Saved. Will give it a try come summer. Did you add the cajeput in your recipe?

I haven’t, but it seems to work anyway.

Mosquitoes here are already repelled by the lemongrass based sprays and candles.

And what a clever way to sell product! Just how essential are these oils, anyway?

They're extracts of volatile oils contained in plants, many of which can be collected at home via steam distillation.

Heads up: Essential oils are toxic to cats.

Just sayin'

I didn't know that! I've used ground rosemary for a cat I used to have but never used the oil. Glad to know that about the oils.
