It does not help that we have a crisis of competency. The pandemic ended up with a lot of senior people either quitting, retiring or dying. This generation would have been there to mentor the young people moving into industry.

Without them, they are full of knowledge but lack wisdom which would have been learned by working with someone more senior with more life experience.
