From the post: "Alabama on Wednesday signed legislation that would ban diversity, equity and inclusion programs at public schools, universities and state agencies.
The bill, titled SB129, places restrictions on eight 'divisive concepts', including assigning 'fault, blame or bias' to any race, religion, gender or color, or discussions of whether 'slavery and racism are aligned' with the founding principles of the US.
It also requires higher education institutions to designate bathrooms based on 'biological sex', meaning that transgender people would be banned from using the lavatory that aligns with their gender identity."
