My fall off is in the early zoomer stage even tho i recognize most stuff but 90% of everything before that i have interacted with not sure if things came late to Scandinavia or what as most cartoons i saw is from early gen x but i was born after the cold war ended.
What!? No (((TeleTubbies)))?!
I'm in none of these groups but recognize most examples, fading into the 2000-up stuff.
I wish there was a boomer page, plenty of good healthy fun stuff back in those days.
My own generational culture is not defined by video games, movies and talmudvision. While I did play video games, watch movies and TV in my youth, those things were not what my life centered around. I did those things casually and for brief entertainment purposes with friends or family members. I don't have the cultural connection to those things as my peers often do. So at least for me, I'm not represented in that timeline though my generation is.
Not sure I 100% agree with early Gen x being classified like that. I was born well after that age range but 2atched tons of school house rock, mister Rogers, Captain Kangaroo, etc. TV didn't evolve into a slew of new shit every season until the mid 90s. Prior to that, we made due with the hand me downs we were given. Including the awesome WW2 era Looney toons
Yes.
Entrenched OG Gen X. We're the collective cool kids at the back of the bus baptized in the righteous waters of skepticism and self reliance.
Sort of all over the place apparently. Batman TAS was great though. I feel asleep with space ghost on a lot as a teenager as it was basically the last show on CNs adult swim block. If the sleep timer on the TV didn't expire before the end, you'd be woken by the sudden deafening sound of static [dead air] or infomercials maybe.
Also know mister rogers was still on into the early 90s. Scooby-Doo ran even longer.
Any have a high res version?
