Another thing too, is that even if you were only accused of one thing/act, they'll blow it up into 20+ different charges and try to get you to agree with just a few, otherwise you're facing 20 years if they all add up. Also, lawyers will often want you to plead guilty and make a deal. Unless you're fucked and you know you're fucked, fight it all the way. Remove preconceived idea of justice from your mind, the only thing that counts is money. There is no justice.
