Well he didn't possess the hotel, his ideal world was everyone living in hotels like he did. It's easy to imagine living like that when your filthy rich, having house staff do all your work for you, spend all day doing drugs, having sex, hanging out without a care in the world while the government sorts out all of your responsibilities for you. Just focused solely on your own pleasure not understanding why people work real jobs and how everything stays in order. "Migrants would be happy to do that for me".

Lennon and McCartney were lightning in a bottle. For that brief period of time they produced absolute magic and changed modern music. On their own John showed himself to be a wanna-be altruist and Paul a musical lightweight. It's hard to overstate the significance of their contribution as The Beetles, but as individuals they were/are minor footnotes.

Yoko Ono is a talent-less, narcissistic hag that his endorsement of did more to dis-prove the myth of John Lennon than any of his later simpering, simple minded music did on its own. And his later music was very simple minded so that's saying a lot about those two.
