I know nothing about crypto and I'm only asking because I'm curious, it seems cryptos fail when it is either a scam or when people lose faith in it and sell it off in a mass panic.

But what about a legit crypto for white people? If it caught on, it could be a powerful crypto, am I right?

This is the correct answer. Block chain technology is fine, but it can't be a currency any more than tulips can. The problem is persistence. Crypto only exists as ledger entries. The record isn't tangible and can always be falsified. Bitcoin was an idea, a very interesting one, but has no tangible value. Yes, federal reserve notes also have no value either. Federal reserve notes is also a ponzi scheme. The federal reserve cartel manufactures their currency anytime they want. This is known as theft.

While I agree bitcoin is very compelling, it's not the answer.
