From what I know of Soros, he's not planning on getting into BTC to make it spike. He wants a crash. Grab all that money from the lower classes and cause chaos.

It's not unlike him, but these boomers do not grasp how these things seem to work. The more attention you give these things, the more people buy in. It likely won't have the desired effect even if that was really his aim.
