tbh I'm not sure these charges are justified. This is horrible situation and while she may have been negligent in following policy I'm not sure this is criminal.

Perhaps the parents should be charged for not homeschooling him? Obviously school was not helping his mental state.

If the kid required 24/7 supervision, parents should have paid for an aid.
