tbh I'm not sure these charges are justified. This is horrible situation and while she may have been negligent in following policy I'm not sure this is criminal.

Perhaps the parents should be charged for not homeschooling him? Obviously school was not helping his mental state.

And if the teacher goes in to the restroom with the one kid, she's now in violation of leaving a whole class unsupervised...and also not being taught!
