I lived in Champaign in 1980. It was great. I had a '55 Chevy Belair and a cute local girlfriend and used to cruise the downtown square. They called doing it, "Scoop the Loop". My first Chicago pizza, some great residential architecture. Friends were all great folks.

Like so many other places, it was nice. Ahem... back then.

It use to be a lovely city. Nice restaurants and shopping....very rural America...but once Chicago closed Cabrini-Green housing the libtards of Champaign-Urbana said "We will relocate them!" Now they reap what they sow.....hell Champaign's mayor banned the sales of ammo in the beginning of the holocough
