One good thing is in Chicago Detroit or NY City if the police are defunded the citizens can kill the criminals without fear of arrest by the police, now crime will be taken care of the old fashioned way if the police are gone, citizens will not just wait for it to take over and instead be packing rifles with scopes and other arms to keep their area crime free since I don't consider killing violent criminals a crime in itself it's a service to the community. Gang held down by gunfire die when the neighbors burn their home apartment with just them inside of it. Now the police can go but "I like my police officers" if they end up leaving the citizens have to know this is a valid option after protection is removed. Take option A away and we'll do B is a valid reason if the mayors and governors are going to act like dumb assholes.
