Well, they have the right to defend themselves. But outside that, it looks like they are terrible marksman. Immunity ... there should not be any immunity for any gov't employee/official. The people nearby likely could have shot the cops and the buglers too...they also have the right to defend themselves. If a cop's shot came close to me, I would not hesitate to shoot his head off with my car rifle.
