There was talk about this, Supreme Court acknowledged that human DNA could be patented.
The theory is that, force everyone to get this, they become 'non-human' 'sub-human' 'patented-human' You no longer have rights of a human. No voting rights (lol), no property rights, no right to bear arms, right to keep your organs, ect. Instead of gene-editing-shot turning you into a zombie, you instead just get a product code and become a product.
And before you can even think otherwise, there are some who glow under blue light. You just need to flash blue light to see if they are 'not-human'
