The thing is, what we have now is what is and always will be. Change is often unnecessarily violent, and revolutions just leave you right back where you started, by definition. If nothing is going to change long term then why force change that has no net effect? True the captains at the ship are drunk, and true the captains are such cowards that it's us going down with the ship and not them. But when everything is destroyed and you have no producers, then the self sufficient will become kings, they are their own downfall. Most of these people rely on money to get their way, if money is worthless then they have no bargaining power. If the world wide economy shuts down, then the logistics of firearms is disrupted further limiting their bargaining power.
