Dumbass company fired damned near their whole crew last year, now I'm getting texts and emails from the managers and the NPC workers begging to come back, because they need 140 people by Friday morning. The pay isn't worth the effort to bust my ass for 12 straight hours, plus fuck them for firing their own crew. Not my problem.

It's a corporation so they have to pay hourly, they don't wanna pay for legit union workers who start at $25/hr, so they hit up temp agencies looking for workers and pay them barely above minimum wage to bust ass all day, because the temp agencies get a cut of their worker's hourly pay too.

There are KFCs near me that are now paying 18 an hour. 25 an hour is going to be a thing real soon.
