I did that shit for years, fuck that. Show up outside waving a sign that says 'THIS COMPANY HIRED UNVAXXED WORKERS FOR THIS EVENT!!'
It's not worth it. This company's policy is "All phones must be locked in a locker during our shift (lunch ok), Don't make ANY eye contact with ANY of the performers, don't ask for autographs or pics with the performers" and people are fired after their shift for not following the rules.
I got canned in 2018 after Fleetwood Mac played a sold out show, I asked Stevie Nicks for an autograph for my mom, she obliged, 5 minutes later I'm getting paged to see the supervisor in his office. "Scyber - you know the rules - you can't ask for autographs..." "It's for my mom." "Well you're no longer employed by us after your shift." "No problem, it's just a side gig."
A side note about Stevie Nick's - she's a coal burner. After their set, our crew was backstage in a hallway and she came to personally shake hands and thank the crew, and I'm standing between 2 nogs - She basically sexually assaulted one of them by running her hands all over his chest and saying "Mmmhmmm, I like that!" and winks at him. The older boomer guys in the crew are flabbergasted, because they grew up cooming over her in the 70s. Nog thought it was some random drunk groupie, and the rest of the night all I heard was how jealous some of the other guys were that one of our guys got "molested by one of the biggest rockstars of all time."
Goddammit, I have loved Stevie for 4 decades. I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW THAT!
She's one of the original superstar roasties so I wasn't that surprised.
I almost threw away that autograph because she did it right in front of me without a second thought, and I felt I was vicariously cucked and she viewed me as a starstuck fan who asked for her signature. But it was for my mom and knew I was getting fired for it so I kept it.
She’s 70 years old in 2018
I only sleep with women well into the menopause...ahhh yeahh
Question: What does going down on an old woman taste like?
Answer: depends
I mean, there's a good reason for the rule that you can't ask for autographs -- imagine if dozens or more stagehands were asking the performers for autographs when they just wanted to get ready for their set or relax before/after? How annoying would that be if you were on tour and night after night, not only did you have to perform for the fans, but you had to do the same for stagehands, for free?
They were right to fire you for it. They're a bunch of Covid cultist cucks and they deserve to die for that, of course, but they were still right to fire you in 2018.
