Maybe the whole plan was eugenics through psychological & media manipulation - if they're stupid enough to believe what the TV & facebook tells them, then they're not smart enough to pass on their genes.

I've had this same intuitive feeling, tbh. It's still only going to get worse, before it gets better. But my gut tells me that as long as I don't submit to the mark of the beast, I'll live to see the other side of this all— and everyone who survives will be all-the-better for it.
