Depends. I would have to re-read it but I think you are right. I would have refused, then again, I would not have been signed up for the vaxtax lottery in the first place.

I read it as he was called to get it and he went and got it - but no one knew why he was called.

When the people in charge don’t even know why you turn around and run away. He just said yes dear and died.

To think, If he was not "lucky" he would have to be alive today in Biden's America, just waiting for WW3 to start while they are saying that the bird flu is going to kill us all and we need to eat the bugs to control the weather.
