TL;DR

I have had a cold since Wednesday. I've been working. I just now took a test I was previously given by work. I did that because I still feel sick and was curious. I'm not planning on telling work, it's just a cold.

It could have been so much worse. I could be vaxxed and have the baffling 'died suddenly' side effect.

Perhaps, but I've taken these tests many times and never had a positive before. There were periods where I would have liked to take the week off. lol

The other time I tested positive was one of the mail in tests.

If you breakdown those numbers I think you only get close to the 15% when the person is over 70.

Hit tea with some honey and lemon and you will probably feel great in a few days. Very few people have extreme reactions, just like the flu.

Oh, if your workplace starts being a dick.. you can say you just tested positive this morning and need a few days off... Most states have forced mandatory medical leave because of the vid... Nothing wrong with taking a day or two to relax, have a good steak and get some extra sleep.

Got it twice around Christmas. The second one sucked a little bit cause it felt like a sore throat in my chest. Went to work anyway, took ibuprofen when I felt yucky, managed to get my boss sick too so he was laid up at Christmas. 9/10, would Covid again

I did Dayquil the first time. When it didn't help much, I just went to the fever/pain killer rather than all the other shit rolled in. I can tell the difference between Covid, Flu, and a Cold (cause I'm weird and get very specific symptoms with colds and flu), but covid ain't shit.
