I think it's time to dismantle the CDC. I can't name a single good thing they've ever done.

They killed mosquitoes around Atlanta using a government grant. That's how they got started. Dr. Joseph Mountain founded the CDC in Atlanta after WWII and received federal funds to kill bugs. They weren't created by Congress. Much later, Clinton signed a bill into law that created the CDC foundation in order to fund the actual CDC in perpetuity. So there's really two organizations, the CDC and the CDC Foundation. The CDC proper is private, publicly funded, and part of the President's cabinet. I forget the details but some health laws sort of defacto refer to the CDC so they do have some power, but it's all executive power at most since it's cabinet level.

Anyway, killing mosquitos is good. So there's that.

The executive (C-level) board, and the senior “scientists” for both of these companies are composed of individuals with addresses, friends, daily and weekly routines, and sleep schedules.
