I didn’t know this before but while at the beach last summer on a trip we stopped by the Walgreens to pick something up and were the only ones in the store. The pharmacist was up front really pissed talking loud about how he was supposed to start pushing the flu vaccine instead of the clot shot and the flu vaccine was only something like $2-$5 dollar commission but the clot shot was $15 per shot so he was basically taking a pay cut. He said he was still going to push it along with the flu vaccine because he needed the extra money. I never knew pharmacists got paid extra to promote vaccines or administer shots, I thought shot giving was apart of their job. It was weird how open he was being but I would guess it was because he was pissed and had just got the email/memo. The employees didn’t seem like they cared since they only make minimum wage to begin with and this guy is making an extra $15 on top of his salary every time he injects a bioweapon into someone.
