I had no idea cipro could hurt one's liver.

They gave it to me once and it made me feel like I was drunk. It was weird.

Anyway now I never get it because I have it marked as a drug allergy.

I don't think it directly fried my liver. Either cells destroyed by cipro accumulated in my liver and caused problems, or when my immune system goes off the rails it starts attacking the liver.
