From there, the city’s biosludge trucks transport the liquefied human corpses as “free fertilizer” for farmers, so that the bodies of the dead are used to grow food for the living. It’s not quite Soylent Green, but it’s close.

This is repeated throughout the article, I don’t understand the flushing part, why flush when the goo can just be put in a tanker and hauled away? How do they separate the goo back out at the waste plant it would be pretty diluted and missed with all the other waste at that point.

I agree but I think what they were talking about is using dead humans as fertilizer. not sure though

I thought so too but flushing and sewers are mentioned so many times it can’t be a mistake.

And why aren’t families currently claiming the goo of loved ones, it would be like cremation but a container of goo instead.

yeah but i think the dead people were dragged off to a covid camp and the families didnt know where they were.
