Yeah I heard about one today that happened recently where I live. I definitely would have been there if I knew. Probably the best way is to find one in your location that already happened and reach out to the group in question.
But how do I even learn the name of the group? News doesn’t make it easy
I haven't tried yet for my city but I'll probably start with Google (including the date it happened) and social media and hopefully find a post from an organizer. The sub for your city on reddit is another one to check.
Asking other engaged groups in your locality might be another way
