Imagine that, having antibodies for a virus that is of the same type as the common cold.
I've said it a few times, but the whole point of this is to move vaccine technology forward. We are the test groups. Different technologies, constant data rolling in, different batches with different results. They're throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks, as quickly as they can, to find the safest one.
Once they figure that out, they tweak and tweak until it's perfect, and now they have a fully tested, functional, safe technology to deploy vaccines quickly, in case a REAL pandemic ever happens.
It's for the greater good, they say to each other. They could be right. But I'm not the type to murder one child to save 100 adults.
