It's about losing money they need to pay off the following:.

100,000+ student loans. 600,000+ mortgage. 200,000 for 2 cars. Etc.
Debt makes slaves.

Dude I can't imagine being ~1000000$ in debt. I realize that it worked out for boomers because they butt fucked people in my generation, but I don't know how people with even 50k in student loans for a fucking history degree can sleep at night.

My ex-wife, 55, has over 100k debt, for a worthless online degree. She pushes a lawnmower now.
