I think the unsaid part is natural immunity. If you get the vax then you probably do get some of head start (though at arguable risk/cost). In either case, vaxed or non-gmo, you get the 'rona and recover. Now you are immune and hopefully everybody has a robust immune response to SARS-CoV-x.n.
This also applies to the early treatment patient as the drug therapies slow disease and reduce symptoms allowing your body to crunch virus faster than its intercellular infection rate.
In any survival case you win. Unless we see you being fucked up permanently by the vax or by serious disease before recovery.
