I love this narrative:

  1. Hospitals closing due to surge. --- Hmm ... ok, that doesn't make sense.
  2. Fine, hospitals closing due to staffing shortage. --- Hmm ... but why are there shortages?
  3. Fine, hospital closing due to staff not showing up. --- Hmm ... odd, why is that?
  4. OK, hospital closing due to staff not showing because they refused the vax and we fired them.

They can never admit #4 because that would destroy the narrative.

I know 3 Houston area healthcare workers who are no longer working. It's very common right now.

I've seen all sorts of BS... "They are quitting because of being burned out." etc. They can't afford to admit the truth.

You're free write whatever you want. It’s my opinion that the title is deceptive. Free standing ER’s do not have ICU”’s. I’ve worked at many of them. They have normal ER room set ups, a radiology department and a Lab. They have always been run by a parent hospital and operate under their medical direction. “Houston Hospital Closes “Free Standing” ER due to “Covid Surge”.
