I've said this a bunch of times here in the past. If I remember correctly from elementary school, we were taught that something like 150,000 to 200,000 jews were killed in the camps.

I distinctly remember being in fourth grade (in about 1982) and being taught 4M jews died (or whatever) at the hands of the Nazis. I didn't ever see the 6M number until about 2008.

4 million "people suffered and died". -> 1.4 million "people died". -> 1.3 million "people died, 1.1 million of whom were jews".

There's a 0.1 million difference between the last two, there's no real conflict with the first one because it's counting people who suffered but didn't die.

There are some good arguments disputing the reality and the severity of the Holocaust; this isn't one of them.

Semantics and distraction to cover the obvious lie.

The final 1.3 million were the total member "sent to Auschwitz". Of the 1.1million jews, the Nazis killed "the majority of them"... so some number over 550 thousand?

The original 4 million was the major part of the mythical 6 million. Though when it was reduced to 1.5 million, the total remained at 6 million. Magic jew math.
