It's very deep. Irving was given unprecedented access to shitloads of personal notes, and the picture that comes out puts AH in a much different light than what we've all been told. But he doesn't shy away from Hitler's mistakes either.

Fwiw imo you should read Mein Kampf first.

That pretty much sums it up. His earlier work especially on Goebbels is amazing. Just didn’t know how many poal fags knew him.

I saw an old video where Christopher Hitchens mentioned him and I had quite forgotten about him.

i was not aware that he did work on Goebbles.. yeah, it looks like I need to pick up a few more books. I would really like to see what he said about himmler, who, i suspect, second to hitler himself, was probably one of the most slandered figures in the reich.
