You are disagreeing with one person's account, saying it NEVER happened, when I experienced it and so did a vast majority.
The only thing that I said NEVER happened is that every single store in a livable area enforced mask mandates. And other than his personal story (which sounds like it should end with everyone clapping) I still have no reason to believe this happened anywhere in the US; that any individual who didn’t want to wear a mask had no place to shop or dine where they wouldn’t be kicked out, even during peak pandemic
Different shit happened everywhere, a single location is not representative of everywhere.
The law of averages exists everywhere.
I lived in a place where the average acceptance rate was significantly higher than the national average, and even there there were plenty of store owners that didn’t accept the mandates. Even in Portland and Seattle there were stores and restaurants you could enter without masks.
Yeah, I’ve only presented my personal experience, but the logical conclusion from that experience is counter to what this person (who almost certainly told an untrue story in the first place) is saying happened in their city.
Was that your experience? Were there zero stores near you that would let you enter without a mask?
