So...is this seller a moron and just doesn't know how to change the outgoing notice on their sales, is the seller a moron and is still scared of a cold and thinks this is still going on, or is the seller just trying to cover up for not shipping things on time?

I'm going for the first one, but I see plenty of maskurbators around here, so maybe the second is true as well.

Either that or this is a CYA so when he never ships the items, he simply points to this disclaimer.

If it’s nefarious, it’s probably he’s slow to ship for various reasons. Could also be a high volume seller who deals with tons of complaints so maybe this trimmed that number down.

As an active seller on eBay, I can tell you they don’t give a fuck about the seller. You have no option to defend yourself. The money is gone AND the item(s) are gone. If the item is worth paying to get it shipped back to you, you’re receiving something that’s now used of it was new, and can arrive broken. No telling what the buyer did to it. No amount of disclaimers, common sense, nor proof will prevent you from getting fucked over.

Then I chargeback. eBay is really skewed towards buyers - the main reason I quit selling there.
