I'm not judging! Took me a couple years to get over west nile so I get sequelae and all that. Just saying laboratory blood samples don't seem to support the existence of "long covid"

It was a very strange disease. I never felt so tired in all my life, but other than that and the cough it was pretty mild. The cough and the fatigue started clearing up immediately when I started taking antibiotics for a secondary infection, which indicates the virus itself wasn't the primary cause of the symptoms. Then when I ran out of antibiotics the cough came back and wouldn't go away. I never had any lingering medical issues like that from any other disease.

Like I said, I don't know the details of how it works. If you see trees slowly dying after you've put out a forest fire, you know the fire is the root cause even once all the flames have gone out.
