I've dealt with these people, and it is zealotry that drives the core. The upper people might also get into the money game, but it is a cult and the lower members don't care about money, as long as they can take it from the out group and give it to the cult. They will live in crappy apartments stinking while trying to move money to their preferred set of millionaires. Honestly it pays off since now they can't be jailed or ridiculed for crimes.

I assumed that to be a flight attendant, you had to be able to Read. They have joined the long list of morons that refuse to read the Warning on every box of masks, that Clearly states the masks do NOT stop a virus and are NOT for medical use. Translation= They STOP NOTHING.

I suspect most don't care one bit about whether it stops viruses but helps keep people shut the fuck up and limit effects of those with poor hygene. I'm not a flight attendent but I take somewhere between 50-100 flights a year. In that many flights among that many people inevitably you run into some amount who are annoying and won't shut up and who don't do basic things like brush their teeth. Since the masks I have entcountered that a heck of a lot less. Since they naturally shut people up and cover their mouths. I imagine many flight attendents appreciate that and are like, "Uh...yeah, muzzle those fuckers. Uh...for 'safety' of course."
