Marketing departments love anything they can enumerate and put into huge letters for pamphlets, media ads and for in store hypnofuckage.

Anything they can put a number to. They love it. Meaningless or not.

Salesmen don't have to go through too much education. Customers are idiots is lesson alpha and omega.
