I have a friend who is anti-mask (anti-stupidity) and a pilot.
According to him:
- These days, someone gets arrested on his plane monthly.
- 95% of the problems are power tripping 'karen' flight attendants. "Respect my authority!" type nonsense.
Before every flight, in the pre-flight briefing he asks the flight attendants to just be 'chill' and don't make a big deal of the mask rule. Not to be heavy handed on kids and not to be heavy handed on the rules. He reminds them "it just isn't worth the headache and let's just get thru the flight without getting the cops involved."
