Make the arrows nerf darts and requote, then it makes sense

To be accurate the vaxxed in the metal armor should be wrapped in a cloth mask

But that would actually be somewhat effective for stopping cuts if you had enough of them, unlike the vax.

Chain mail with holes big enough to allow 40 arrows through at a time would be accurate to the cloth weave vs virus size.
