Think that boat sailed with the whole "13 months" bit.
We can't do metric, people still cry about daylight savings time, and you want to fuck with with the months?
LOL
Aside from the adoption problem this is brilliant.
Base 12 is superior to Base 10.
It does work pretty good for finger counting... but otherwise. No.
Q: How much is my bill? A: $A5B ..... NPC_bluescreen.jpg
It's good for adding, multiplying and dividing up to 64 or 128 or so, which is pretty much all you need to build most things including houses and small bridges where you can get away with probably about 1/64th tolerences.
Your point is fair, but the problem is that our pricing model is in base 10 not base 12 so it's only difficult to calculate a bill because you are converting from base 10 to base 12 and then doing math. If civilization was in base 12 all pricing would be in base 12 and you could do pretty much most math at the top of your head and with the assistance of a couple of fingers.
base 12
HERE WE GO AGAIN
edit: you don't even believe your own crap or you would still write it "base 10." (pronounced "base twelve")
Metric is for faggots.
Wait...I LIKE metric!
Would you say the radius of your anus is 15cm or 18cm?
...and people who appreciate logic and measurements correlating to one another.
There are two types of counties. Those that use the imperial system, and those that can put a man in space.
Why 13 months and not 12?
365/12 would leave 5 extra, which is a little much. Also the months would all be 30 days instead of 28, so the week separation aspect doesn't line up.
Humm... I kinda like it...
I like it. Kikes will not
They sure will. A whole extra month to charge rent and compound interest.
Why make things simple when we can make them difficult for the average goyim? [hand rubbing intensifies]
We could make a jewish calander, where we just delete saturday and sunday. Then we can work every single day of the year uninterupted.
Why? The discordian calendar (en.wikipedia.org) is fine.
Fuck it. Daylight savings time.
Starting the week with Sunday feels very American. I don't trust Americans to create a new calendar, since they are still stuck with their Imperial units.
Nah, metric sucks. The fact that your largest unit of measurement is 0.62 of a mile is laughable in the modern day where we travel many many miles on a daily basis. And the fact that there is nothing between a meter and a cm is retarded. Imagine if imperial just went from cm straight to yards, that would be retarded since feet is the most commonly used unit of measurement for the average joe on an average day.
Miles are too short. Enjoy our supreme Scandinavian units. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavian_mile Imagine that. A unit that works perfectly with the metric system, while being 6 times longer than a murican mile.
Anyway, you obviously don't understand SI-prefixes. So let's resolve your incorrect assumption within the metric system as well. The unit of measurement isn't kilometer, the unit of measurement is meter. You then add a prefix with the size of your choice. Kilo is 1000 (10³), so 1km is 1000 meters. Nothing is stopping you from using the next prefix, mega (10⁶). 1Mm is 1 million meters or 620 murican miles. If bigger is better, I'd take the mighty Megameter over the puny murican mile any day.
Imagine if data units were in murican instead of SI-prefixes. There wouldn't be byte, kilobyte, megabyte and gigabyte. Instead it would be inchbyte, footbyte, milebyte. How many inchbytes goes into a milebyte? I guess it's 12 ouncebytes and a poundbit.
Then you are beyond hope newbie.
Found the snowflake murican. Also, do you even ISO 8601?
I'm cool with it... as long as one of the months is named ScreaminMimeuary.
SIGH This is why we can't trust the general populace with anything important.
Besides, MisterSplashyPantsuary is much catchier.
