Oh it's real. Finally opened back up to two lanes there, but yesterday was the day my wife snapped a picture of it.

I saved a copy for my collection of funny and fucked up road sign pics! Generally they'd use the orange construction sign for the arrows and maybe some text, then throw a blue placard with the company's logo in color on top (specific service sign), but life throws curve balls. I'm impressed the contractor found a sign shop to fabricate that - unless the state/city/county furnished it via their sign shop.
