I’ll give you that, no telling what will show up in any particular stone when it’s subjected to heat abuse. However, I’ve seen bluestone fire pits and grill stations going strong after 30 years.

No, cover is a sub. Pennsylvanians actually. Never had any sort of blade just fall off, except a reciprocating saw.
