I decided in for a penny in for a dollar. Just ordered sawzall, impact driver, drill and driver, oscillating tool and three batterys not including 60 volts with saw. So 5 batterys total. I think Im set for the rest of my life without dragging around fuckin cords. I sure as shit aint buying anymore tools.

I have said fuck dewalt all my life and looky here.

didnt you at one time post about how to rebuild battery packs? Fuck I got a shitload of old bosch battery tools that no longer work, and dead makita batteys.

I don't remember posting about that. It can be done, but you're going to need something to spark-weld new connection tabs on to the batteries with.

With the sheer amount of electronics stuff you post I would have thought that slapping together a working tac welder would be easy for you.

A quick glance it looks like a dual probe system using 200-400 watts.

I've never had need for it, so it's not something that's been on my plate.

With battery packs becoming obsolete, it's probably something I should investigate.
