I decided in for a penny in for a dollar. Just ordered sawzall, impact driver, drill and driver,oscillating tool and three batterys not including 60 volts with saw. So 5 batterys total. I think Im set for the rest of my life without dragging around fuckin cords. I sure as shit aint buying anymore tools.

I have said fuck dewalt all my life and looky here.

I can recommend their 12 inch electric chainsaw. I know what your thinking, right. An electric chainsaw? Are you crazy? Nope. It's worked for about 2 years now. On the third or fourth chain and second or third blade. Watch a few videos about how to adjust the chain properly or you'll burn up the channel on the blade. Bar oil. Buy a big jug or several. Can't use any other oil. Needs to be bar oil, it's very sticky.

I heat my home with the wood I process each spring. My buddy had been using some smaller electric saws for limbing etc... I bought decided if I was going to waste money I'd buy myself a Harbor freight Atlas 80v saw and laugh when it died the first hour.

Two years later... It's been ran over by an excavator, left in severe rain multiple times, bounced in and out of side by sides... Dropped, pinched... I have a total of 3 batteries and one fast charger. Three batteries gets me through a good day of dropping trees, limbing them out and sectioning them for transport. Oregon chains fit it and work great 👍🏻.

Only gas saw I've busted out in two years is the 28" bar for larger sections when I'm getting ready for splitting.

Noise stops when the saw does. No lugging the gas can or mixing fuel.

Fuck all the green energy horseshit but God damn I'd be hard pressed to find another tool I've respected having more.

There were 5 saws here. 4 gas and the electric DeWalt. One by one, the gas saws went down. Different manufacturers, different types, different problems, different weather, etc. As I waited for parts- Every time, the little 12 inch electric chainsaw went to work. At first, I didn't think much about it, but it just kept going and it took all the abuse you mentioned. (Haven't run it over... yet. Yet.) I'm impressed with the durability for sure.

Depends on your winter on oil. Chains and blades? Ahhh you mean bar?

Bar, yes. Idk about using any other oil, cuz I had several gallons of bar oil. It worked all winter long.

I just bought one this spring. Great for smaller stuff. I do need to buy bigger Ah batteries.
