I think Im set for the rest of my life without dragging around fuckin cords. I sure as shit aint buying anymore tools.

There is a reason you have always said Fuck Dewalt. Should have stuck to it. I replaced all my dewalt stuff with makita and most of my guys are getting rid of their dewalt stuff too. Dewalt is not so good anymore. Their batteries suck.

You're supposed to post here about it before you go spend a bunch of money!!

On a side note, if you're just using this stuff around the house then disregard, dewalt is fine for the occasional use. I am in construction so using my stuff every day really exposed the weakness of dewalt tools.

Well ya know what? Im not gonna use them daily anymore but you know the brand you love to hate? Ryobi? I have seen those fuckers beat the hell out of and keep on going. I know its controversial.

When I went down to South Carolina to do floors for my brother, he bought all new tools for me to use so that I didn’t have to try to bring mine on an airplane. They were all Ryobi‘s and I was actually really impressed with them. For the price they were excellent quality and did good work. I can’t speak to how long they would last being used every day, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Dewalt batteries are made by Ryobi, Makita batteries are made by Panasonic

Well I guess that would tell the tale of quality then.

And btw, the only dewalt tool I will defend is their portable table saw (electric) better than any others.

I have had multiple Dewalt Jobsite table saws and they are just fine, I had no complaints. However when it came time to buy another I got the Skil Worm Drive and I'll tell you what, it is night and day better. It's stronger, faster and came on a built in gravity rise stand with big ol' wheels for rolling around the jobsite. I love it.

I will admit, I dropped skil when bosch bought them out. I still have a never used circular saw when they did that. I didnt even know skil was around? I was brought up on the skill 6 1/2 saw.
