Dewalt cordless is weak, ryobi is stronger. Though I prefer my corded makita

Why I have my corded Skilsaw...

Skilsaw is good too

Use to be good ya mean, I think bosch bought them and changed it all.

I've a cordless ryobi, and a old school (90s) corded Craftsman.

60 volt, better than their previous one. I like makita also but with two batterys, fuck a 60 volt battery is $200

Here's a tip. Go to your local recycle center. Take as many battery packs as you can find. Take them apart. Test each battery cell. Usually there's one bad battery. Remove it. Replace it with one that works. I do this. I'm thinking of starting a business doing this. It's pretty easy and doesn't take long.

I think there is already an online one, but room for more.

Yeah if you are only using it every now and then you should be fine. Fuck those over priced batteries man

Most battery saws are just 20 volt, they say these will last all day. Yeah I know it depends. Makita makes one that actually uses two batterys but that shit got to be heavy.

this. I'm s makita fanboy too even though i own few.

Bullshit. Ryobi tools are nice for the money and are good for homeowners, but there’s a reason you don’t see them on construction sites

2 guys at work. one has Dewalt cordless, one has Ryobi cordless. we tested how fast they could cut a 2x4, Ryobi won. that being said I use a corded Makita saw because fuck a cordless, they are all trash.

Cordless are great for movement around site. Square cuts and rough mitres and bevels. Ripping kills your battery and you need something corded for that. Ive the a Mil brushless circ saw. Its great. Lots of power for rips but as with all of them it depends on battery size and its charge.

My last site the guys preffered Makita. Maybe because of the lower cost. I find them to have too many interior componets made of plastic. One crew man melted the makita recip saw in less than a week.

Unfortunatley too many tool makers are opting for these weaker plastic componets. My Brand new Mil impactor had issues with the bitchuck in the first couple weeks and needed to be sent away. 👌
