I would say I have maybe a week left before it gives out. I've been here before. These calluses are deep and it hurts like hell when they tear. What do you guys do to prevent this?

Corn Huskers lotion.

Have you tried lanolin (wool grease)? It's great for your skin and particularly good for tough calluses. It might be too late for these calluses, but would definitely help in the longer term.

We got this stuff at the hardware stores in Canada called "Working Hands". Also Polysporin cream helps too.

Dremel the calluses. Apply lotion and wear gloves before bed.

Curley wears a “glove fulla Vaseline” on one hand because, according to Candy, “he's keepin' that hand soft for his wife.”

I might give it a try. I don't really want to get rid of the callus if I'm being honest though. I just want to soften it up a little so it doesn't split open. Maybe ill try using a glove with the bag balm. Thanks for the tip.
