I knew a guy who would mist sheetrock with water until it started to get soft and would make round corners in fancy houses. Then would blast a nepco kerosene heater at it to dry it up.

We used to do it with archways. We would cut the piece lay it on the floor and keep putting water/snow on it till we got the desired bend. Hard to do with the new board these days. Its really brittle.

Idk much about sheetrock myself, just seen him do it in his living room once to restore a wall in a super old house he owned at the time. Blew my mind.
