Why would they say 'population is less than 500,000' in the future? They could have used any number; 1 million, 200,000, 400,000, but they chose the exact number that the powers at work are actively trying to get to.

"Maintain humanity under 500,000,000." How many people reading this on the Guidestones actually realizes what it would entail? It would require total surveilance, and total contol by the state over the people, in perpetuity.
