I had a customer who was NSA and worked on the sister ship to the Liberty, decoding underwater cables.
He told me to read The Puzzle Palace and a book on The Liberty forget which one at the moment.
Glad I found out.

It's a book about the NSA, it's history, etc.
It's interesting but detailed to the point of not being a really easy read.
I got halfway through it and need to finish it.
I gotta check that out. I'll add it to my list of books that I want. It is sad, but a huge amount of the books on my list are no longer available because they have been deemed "wrong think". It is shocking how many books on my list this has happened to.
