$IBM down over 10% after Anthropic launches an AI tool that converts old COBOL code to modern languages.

AI code translation directly competes with IBM's legacy modernization consulting.

Investors don't know shit about Cobol or what it takes to convert a legacy system into something current. They can't understand it but still make financial moves based on what little they know about technology. This is not a sign of realistic possibilities. This is a sign that jews are redistributing wealth through fear and panic. Cobol isn't going anywhere. AI is all just (((smoke and mirrors))). Don't fall for jew tricks.

Why would you want to convert COBOL into other languages? There is a reason why it still used.

Anthropic put out a paper. Not an actual product.

Right. I just found it funny how IBM stock went down at the slightest hint of the possibility. They probably charge an arm and a leg for those maintenance contracts.

As for COBOL, I heard it's a nice language.
